The right to a fair trial protects people from injustice. This protection is missing in the United Kingdom (UK).

The legal system of the UK has structural flaws. The problems caused by these flaws make fair trials impossible.

Without a fair trial, there can be no justice. Miscarriages of justice are out of control.

The Fair Trial Project will run campaigns to help people get the justice they deserve.

‘James Casey is Innocent’ is the featured campaign.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) banned the press and public from all court buildings. This is contrary to the principle of open justice. A total ban on the press and public was unnecessary.
