The Fair Trial Project
The Fair Trial Project campaigns on human rights, especially the right to a fair trial which covers criminal trials and civil hearings. Sign up to our newsletter to learn more about our campaigns and class actions.
Part of our work entails the investigation of miscarriages of justice. We are in contact with many prisoners who have asked us to investigate the fairness of their trials. Please see the ‘James Casey is Innocent Campaign’ for details of one person we are helping who did not get justice.
Our head office is in Glasgow, Scotland. We have a Scottish focus, although many of the issues we campaign on are UK wide.
The Fair Trial Project is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) (SCO48283).
Our People
There are three trustees of the charity. One trustee, Tom Muirhead, also works as our Chief Executive. Tom has an honours degree in law and a passion for human rights, especially fair trial rights.
Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure that the people of the UK get fair trials and therefore, the justice they deserve.
